OneWhitePixel
OneWhitePixel is an iOS Strategy & Product Development agency. Specialized in helping businesses that want to deliver new products and services to this new exciting platform. We guide them through the process from initial concept inception to the final development ‘blueprint’ and are able to deliver the app to a global audience.
OneWhitePixel at its core is these two guys, Cliff and Mathijs, who run a small team with incredible talent and experience. Most of the time they hang around Eindhoven (The Netherlands) having fun in creating concepts and designing applications for iOS powered devices like the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Apart from working on specific projects and developing great apps for clients, they like to initiate their own projects in their spare time. This surf app is one of them.
Being surfers ourselves and big fans of the Stormrider Surf Guides we’re super stoked to launch this application together with our friends from Low Pressure.
Low Pressure
Low Pressure is and always has been a company devoted to surf and travel. Expanding horizons and highlighting the potential of a world of waves is the whole point of our business. The Stormrider Surf Guides have been the end product of this devotion. Since 1990, we have published 10 Stormrider Surf Guides and 2 Snowboard Guides as paper books, plus 34 different eBook titles. Low Pressure’s surf industry experience also extends to 15 years retail in London, a surf travel agency, clothing and merchandising manufacture plus a series of travel films for Eurosport.
To get the balance right, we have done everything we possibly can to give accurate and comprehensive information without taking away the thrill of discovery. All our information is contributed by and double checked by local riders. We remove opinion and personalities from the books to leave the hard and fast facts so the stars of The Stormrider Surf Guides are the waves themselves… all we do is try to present them in a clear and consistent fashion. One surfer’s 5 star wave is another surfer’s nightmare. The style is adapted to this approach – it is only a guide… you do the rest.
