Having a hard time with our app? Please take notice of the following known issues before you contact us for support.
- “It seems like the app crashes at random times or actions…”
Most of the times, this isn’t a bug within our application. Probable cause number one is your device’s memory becoming all clogged up with no room left for our app to work with. What you should always try:- Do a hard reset. This should clear up any pre-existing memory problems.
- See if the problem persists and if it’s not already described further down in this FAQ.
- “Why is country x or region y not available in your app?”
We are working our way through the legendary Stormrider Guide books to bring every single featured break spot to our app. We’ve launched with 800+ of the 4000+ spots and will update regularly to add additional spots. You can see which spots are already included on our front page. Simply click on one of the countries to see which regions are included. Not satisfied? Let us know which area you’re craving for… and we might be able to prioritize our release schedule based on all the feedback we get! - “The descriptions of Bali, Indonesia seem to be all mixed up…”
This is a know bug which we will try to fix with our next update, scheduled for the end of August 2010. Thanks for all you people that have reported this issue to us, our application robots are working on it! Hang tight! - “iTunes tells me I can’t install your app on my device…”
Our application requires at least iOS firmware 3.1.2 or higher. Sadly, that means that 1st generation iPhone and 1st generation iPod touch models are not supported.
